Charles E. Rounds, Jr., a practicing member of the Massachusetts bar, is a tenured professor at Suffolk University Law School in Boston and the senior author of eighteen editions of Loring and Rounds: A Trustee’s Handbook. The Handbook’s first edition, authored by Augustus Peabody Loring (a professional trustee and also a Boston lawyer), was published in 1898 by Little, Brown & Co. Rounds has twice testified before Congress on trust-related matters. He is an Academic Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and Resident Fellow of the Beacon Hill Institute (BHI).
For almost three decades, his scholarship, litigation consultancy, and expert witness services have focused on the property and fiduciary aspects of the Agency and the Trust. The equitable remedy is also within the scope of his expertise. Rounds, whose full biography may be obtained by visiting his faculty web page: http://www.law.suffolk.edu/faculty/directories/ faculty.cfm?InstructorID=49, resides with his wife on Boston’s Beacon Hill. His son and co-author, Charles E. Rounds, III, is a partner in the Colorado law firm of Kirch and Rounds P.C. |
